Q: How long is the Bluffscape Amish tour?
3 hours trip to Amish farms and shops in the countryside.
Q: What time do the tours depart?
10 am and 1:30 pm Monday – Saturday (No Sunday tours or on religious holidays) April – October
November – First two Saturdays only.
Q: What do we ride in during the tour?
A large van or a 14-passenger minibus with a speaker system.
Q: What do we get to see?
Amish farms, Amish retail craft shops, Amish working in their fields, gardens, and yards. We get out at each stop. Amish home only when available or arranged in advance.
Saturdays July – October. Pie and ice cream for purchase, and possible horse-drawn wagon ride.
Q: What items are available for purchase?
Quilts, tables-runners, rugs, pot holders
Baskets, leather goods
Furniture – large and small
Wooden accessories, candles
Jams, jellies, pickles, and sweets
Q: What will we learn about the Amish?
Tours are fully narrated by the guide.

Daily life without electricity, clothing, transportation and etc.
Q: Do we see anything else on the tour?
Visit the historic Lenora stone church (Not Amish – historic pioneer site)
Q: Can children come along on the tour?
Yes, small children are welcome, but no car seats are provided (limited bathroom facilities).
Q: Can we purchase goods from the Amish with credit cards?
No, the Amish only accept cash or personal checks.
Q: Can we take photos of the Amish?
No, out of respect for the Amish, pictures of the Amish people are not allowed. Guests may take photos of things on some of the farms, just not of the people.
Q: How do I pay for my tour?
Bluffscape accepts cash, checks, or credit cards.
Q: Are the vehicles handicap accessible?
No, the bus has wide steps for easy access and walkers.
